Awareness meeting on cyclone and disaster preparedness held in Barguna

A awareness meeting on cyclone and disaster preparedness was held in Barguna. This meeting was organized under Jago Nari’s Cyclone Anticipatory Action Planning & Response project at Adam Bazar Malbari in Ayla Patakata Union of Sadar Upazila. In the awareness meeting, CPP volunteers, Jagonari volunteers, and representatives of community clinics spoke important words about cyclone preparedness and response.

The project participants read placards with various slogans on cyclone preparedness and awareness. The midwife of the community was present in this awareness meeting and she pledged to be by their side during cyclones/disasters.

This awareness meeting was organized by coordinating with those who play a role in disaster preparedness on behalf of the project. As a result, the project participants and the vulnerable and endangered people of the community will benefit greatly. They will be able to cope with the cyclone better and survive.
