Workshop on Anticipatory Action Triggering Criteria/Protocol held

A two-day Anticipatory Action Trigger Criteria/Protocol workshop under the ACT-II project in collaboration with Oxfam in Bangladesh was successfully completed in Barguna on 8–9 November 2025. 74 participants in 2 batches participated in the workshop.
On 8 November, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Mr. Animesh Biswas was the chief guest at the inaugural session. Hosne Ara Hasi, Executive Head of Jagonari, delivered the welcome address at the event.
Mr. Talukder Imtiaz, District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer (DRRO), was present at the concluding session on 9 November.
Panel Chairman and members of Gourichanna and Fuljhuri Unions, CPP and Red Crescent representatives, PIO, Agriculture Officer, Assistant Director of Fire Service and Civil Defense, BWDB representatives, Press Club President and Editor, Ansar Commander, and Jagonari senior management team participated in this training.
