‘Health Olympiad’ 2025 held in Barguna with the participation of youth in a colorful event

On November 16, the ‘Health Olympiad’ 2025 was held in Barguna with the participation of youth in a colorful event organized by the District Health Rights Youth Forum in collaboration with Bangladesh Health Watch and Jagonari. ‘Health Olympiad’ 2025 was held at Barguna Shilpakala Academy from 10 am to 2 pm.
The chief guest of the event was Additional District Commissioner Mr. Animesh Biswas. The special guests of the event were Dr. Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Consultant and Coordinator, Civil Surgeon Office, Jagonari CEO Hosne Ara Hasi, Program Manager of Bangladesh Health Watch Morshed Alam and ASM Sohel Hafiz, President, Press Club.
Also present were Hasanur Rahman Jhantu, President of Barguna District Health Rights Forum. Also present were the principals of three secondary schools and students of class 9 and 10.

There were 5 stalls at the event: 1. Registration 2. Community Clinic 3. Union Health and Family Planning Clinic 4. Sadar Hospital, Barguna and 5. Blood Donation Program Stall. Students of the three schools participated in the quiz competition and were awarded.
Nafi Muhammad, class 9, Collegiate Girls’ School, won first place in the quiz, Dola, class 9, DKP Girls’ School, won second place, and Fatimatuzzohra, class 9, DKP Girls’ School, won third place. In the display exhibition, Collegiate Girls’ School won first place, DKP Girls’ School won second place, and Utsharg won third place. A consolation prize was also given to Adarsh Girls’ School.
