Future Vision: Expanding the Volunteer Movement
Building on the success in Barguna, JAGO NARI envisions a broader and more resilient volunteer network by expanding registration and training efforts across all districts of the Barisal Division and into the disaster-prone regions of Khulna Division. The organization plans to form district-level rapid response units to ensure faster and more efficient deployment during emergencies. A digital volunteer database will be developed to facilitate real-time coordination and communication. To maintain readiness, JAGO NARI will continue offering refresher training, simulation exercises, and leadership development workshops. At the core of this vision is JAGO NARI’s unwavering belief that resilient communities are built from within. By investing in volunteers—our most valuable human resource—we aim to ensure that those most affected by disasters are also the most empowered to respond. This initiative is not only about emergency response but also about building long-term resilience, fostering community solidarity, and advancing local leadership in humanitarian action.
