Volunteer Selection, Mapping, and Networking
To bridge the gap in emergency response capacity, JAGO NARI mobilized staff to conduct a comprehensive survey across all unions and upazilas of Barguna district. Additionally, JAGO NARI conducted a Google-based survey to engage potential volunteer organizations and enroll dedicated individuals to ensure long-term sustainability. Through these efforts, over 3,000 volunteers were identified and registered, representing a rich diversity of professions—boatmen, van and autorickshaw drivers, doctors, nurses, youth leaders, teachers, NGO professionals, and community influencers. The goal was to build an inclusive, multi-sectoral volunteer pool capable of being rapidly deployed during crises.
